Here at APP(ideas) we get pretty excited about doing the things we love. We believe you do too! But we’re willing to bet that tracking your time is not one of those things.

We have made the tedious task of time tracking as quick and easy as possible... So you can get on with your life and do the things that matter most. Whether for work or life, TimeLogger will enhance productivity and make time tracking constraints a thing of the past.

Simply put, TimeLogger is the easiest to use iPhone app for tracking your time. Although it is easy to use, TimeLogger is also comprehensive—it suits the needs of almost every person who needs to track his or her time.

Once you have started a timer, you can close the program, continue your work, and come back later to stop the timer.  Recording your work category, client, job, notes and breaks is quick and simple, as is exporting all of that information into Excel (or spreadsheet program of your choice).

TimeLogger has too many features and capabilities to explain easily in a quick summary. That is why MacWorld Magazine named TimeLogger the “Best Time Tracker” saying, “TimeLogger impressed me at once with its user friendliness… A solid app for self-employed professionals who value their time and money.”

Pros and cons of TimeLogger.app app for iPhone and iPad

TimeLogger.app app good for

Im surprised there arent more people reviewing this app as they have an active forum on their website (worth a peek). Although there are some things Id tweak (prehaps the ability to make the homepage of the app the "Current Entries" option or the option of doing such configurations) I think its well worth the 4 bucks. I jump from task to task during the day and for billing purposes need to track my time accordingly. Everyone could offer a way to make this work better for their specific needs, but understand the developers cant make a custom app for each and every user. And whats more, theres nothing else in the store that comes anywhere near what this does. My two cents.
Im impressed. Easy to get going with, allows you to make it as simple or complex as you like in terms of jobs and clients. Emailable report is good. This app is going to help me figure out how I spend my time and then Im going to ask for a raise!
With the help of this app now I know exactly on what Im spending my time at work. I like the way the timers where implemented. This app is simple and efficient. Thanks.
This app works well, but it was the upgrade that really made it work as a tool. 15min interval timing is great. Email reports are smooth. Id be lost without it.
This app works as advertised. The developer is receptive to suggestions, responds quickly to emails, and makes regular incremental improvements. TimeLogger gets used so many times during the day, its a candidate for residing on my iPhone dock. I look forward to seeing some of the items on the suggested improvements list being implemented. The apps ability to output records to CSV format is a real bonus for data security. Personally, I hope to implement a macro routine in my office that allows me to input TimeLogger records into our resident time/accounting software. Highly recommend this application....
Been looking for an easy and fast app to keep track of my jobs, etc. Works perfect! Love to user interface and ability to customize things. Well done!

Some bad moments

As of v1.0 it’s not very useful. There is no way to get totals by clients, categories or jobs and no way to export or email your data. Entry of timers is tedius. It would be better for me if it remembered the client, category and job that I entered in my last timer (most of the time Im just changing either the category or job when starting a new timer). For now I’m going back to my Palm Pilot for tracking time. Ill try this application again when the next version is released.
With the latest version the app is crashing! I need to get my Time log out of this app before tomorrow morning and now im stuck! This is the second time that i get this kind of problem with their updates… Last time was a year and a half, had to change my regional setting on the phone but now i cant get it to work! Thanks for testing your app!! you guys rock!! EDIT: deleting the app, and then downloading and installing it back solve the crashing issue. But all my data is gone… backup, print, or email your data before doing any updates with this app.
Im not very impressed with this app lately. Ive been having troubles for months now, and I have contacted the developer for advice, and nobody ever gets back to me. I just purchased the 2nd app? And Im still having issues. Ive paid for both apps now, and not one is working. Wheres the update??
I am looking to keep track of my weekly hours and OT worked. Would like it if it had a function to automaticlly take out lunch hour(or half hour). I do like how you can set it to end in advance. Also of you could set up weeks and pay period totals, would be five stars.
Does not work on 2.1. CostmoSoft blames Apple and expected the 2.1 upgrade to fix. Buyer beware.
Could you pleeeaaaase add two things?? Could you add manual time entry as an option? Just a field instead of dials where you enter number of hours a task took. Timers are nice, but one doesnt always remember to start them. sometimes its just easier to enter a job, then the amount of hours worked on x,y,z tasks. Also, a feature I would love to see is Flat Fee priced items. Many times a job will also have flat fee priced services like scans, proofs, clipping paths, etc (Im a designer) and I would love to be able to track those expenses in conjunction with the hours spent doing other tasks. Please can you add those two features....otherwise like I said, I am finding this a good start to a good app....keep up the great work. PS...can you space your text slightly away from the sides of the iphone? (in current entries) the text butts right up to the edge of the iphone...sometimes hard to make out.
